Great worldbuilding and characterisation. There’s a lot of groundwork and backstory built up in vol. 1, but it all takes off from there. Lots of interesting protagonists and a magic system that recalls the inventiveness of Brandon Sanderson.
Amazing.
I love this series and want people to read all three books. Fantastic writing and brilliant characterisation.
